This Australian Government corporation regulates and manages long service leave entitlements of employers and employees within the black coal mining industry. Overlooking the beautiful Newcastle Harbour, their office location is right near the interchange making travelling to work a breeze.
**About the role**

Working within the Governance business unit, reporting to the Chief Governance Officer, the Records Manager will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective, and reliable electronic document management service.
- Support the effective implementation of a new electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) across the organisation
- Lead the review, design, and implementation of information and records management policies, procedures, and systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring proactive review and improvement of records management practices and controls
- Drive organisational and cultural changes needed to embed new systems and help others to overcome resistance to change
- Contribute to governance team activities as required
**About you**
As an experienced information and records manager, you will have experience delivering EDMS programs and projects, with a high-level understanding of information management practices and policy development in a government or regulatory environment. You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar records management role
- An emphasis on compliance within a regulatory setting
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate and lead information and records management projects
- High levels of initiative and creativity to foster continuous improvement and find ways to enhance service delivery
- Have excellent attention to detail, with exceptional time management skills
- Demonstrated experience in implementing new systems/changes and minimising the impact on people and teams.
