EQT has recently brought together its Corporate Trustee Services and Superannuation Trustee Services businesses to form a combined business, CSTS, that oversees more than $160bn in funds for 13 superannuation funds and more than 430 managed funds. This newly established role plays a crucial strategic leadership function, providing governance expertise to CSTS, its clients, and other stakeholders within the managed fund and superannuation trustee industries. It's designed to offer guidance and direction in strategic governance matters, ensuring compliance and effective governance practices while striving for excellence and efficiency in governance processes.
**About the role**
- Provide strategic governance leadership and expertise.
- Oversee governance activities across managed fund and superannuation trustee industries - Governance activities include superannuation governance and compliance, superannuation investment monitoring and reporting, managed fund governance and compliance, fund disclosures, service provider oversight, regulatory affairs and fund related legal services.
- Identify and implement transformation initiatives for mature governance processes.
- Key member of CSTS leadership team with high exposure to EQT group's leadership.
- Requires strong strategic leadership capability and holds strategic importance within CSTS and EQT Group.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Hold relevant tertiary and postgraduate qualifications.
- Membership in relevant professional associations.
- Possess 15+ years of experience in managed fund and/or superannuation industries.
- Strong expertise across governance areas including risk, compliance, legal, and due diligence.
- Experienced in managing large teams of financial services professionals.
- Proficient in communicating with diverse stakeholders, including regulators, clients, and board members, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
