The Salvation Army SA/NT are seeking a values driven Divisional Support Officer to support our Corp Officers (Ministers) and all of our Corps (Churches) across the SA/NT Division. You will have a strong administration background with an ability to build rapport, manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full time role based at Fullarton office.
THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE ROLE
- The role provides administrative and operational support to the TSA Corps (churches) across their assigned area. It has a key focus on developing the Corps administrative functions towards National best practices of volunteer involvement, finance administration, WHS and local marketing strategies that are in line with TSA policy, procedures, systems, and processes.
- The role will work with each Corps on their administrative and compliance priorities, support with recruitment strategies and administration that are in line with each Corps local mission delivery goals.
- A key focus of the role is to develop and set processes and workflows that can be replicated and performed effectively across all Corps.
- This is a broad all-rounder role and would suit a creative business administration generalist, that has an interest in volunteer recruitment and compliance, WHS, finance processes and administration.
- Create advertisements for volunteer roles and support Corps Officers with administration during recruitment and onboarding within our Human Capital Management System (Workday)
- Create volunteer advertisements for social media, posters, flyers, videos and promotional strategies to increase volunteer involvement across Corps
- Utilise state volunteer networks and platforms as avenues for recruitment and engagement opportunities
- Process invoices and reimbursements - through TSA systems
- Support Corps Officers in reviewing and understanding the monthly operating statements
- Assist, investigate and resolve ongoing IT/ Payroll and Finance matters which affect Corps in collaboration with internal stakeholders where required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Generalist administration experience with intermediate computer skills across a range of software
- Experience in/desire to learn Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS)
- Understanding of compliance in NFP sector with volunteer involvement and WHS
- Experience using social media platforms to reach various audiences
- The ability to work independently from remote sites
- A National Criminal History Check
- Relevant Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People registration
- Covid 19 double dose vaccination
- Current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel state-wide
