Let's lead the way together.Job DescriptionMajor Tasks to perform at this level:General mechanical or specific maintenance on ISO Tanks, inclusive of fitting or weldingISO Tank cleaning, inclusive of pressure cleaning, steam cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbingPerforms required task to all containers to repair product imperfections with adjustments according to experience and equipment operating proceduresLoading and unloading of ISO Tanks from delivery truckscontainers to repair product imperfections with adjustments within their area of responsibility in accordance with training and equipment operating procedures.Quality control inclusive of cleanliness inspections, odour detection and leak detection as well as Statutory TestingCleans and maintains housekeeping in their work area, equipment and tools to provide a safe and effective work environment.Performs required process trouble shooting and minor maintenance functions.
Using tools to perform duties as per trainingQualificationsSkills, Experience & Competencies:The right to work in Australis is requiredForklift Ticket, Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry are highly regardedReliability.
To ensure we meet our production targets, candidates must be reliable, stable and be able to routinely work a minimum of a 38-hour week regularlyProven experience in a similar medium to large scale industrial cleaning roleMechanical aptitude with an inquisitive mind-setAbility and strength to utilise a pressure cleanerCan follow instructions and follow procedureExperienced in utilising hand-tools, painting equipment, and ideally has experience with weldingExceptional eyesight with attention to detailEasy going and able to work as part of a teamAdditional InformationPosition Purpose Statement:The Yard Hand / Labourer, Tank Depot Operator will contribute to a constant flow of containers entering and exiting depot.
As a crucial member of the site production team, you will be operating associated equipment to ensure all customer requirements for reliable and quality supply of ISO Tank Containers are met in accordance with the production plan.
There is a strong potential for a long-term role for the right candidate.
