This role will contribute to the cleaning, servicing and repairing of ISO containers at the Maddington – (Perth) Western Australia depot. As a key member of the site production team, you will be operating associated equipment to ensure all customer requirements for reliable and quality supply of ISO Tank Containers are met in accordance with the production plan.

Day-to-day tasks will include - pressure cleaning, steam cleaning or scrubbing of the ISO Tanks. Other tasks will be ad-hoc requirements for fabrication and/or basic welding.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform general mechanical or specific maintenance on ISO Tanks, inclusive of basic fitting or welding,
  • ISO Tank cleaning, inclusive of pressure cleaning, steam cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing,
  • Repair product imperfections with adjustments according to experience within your area of competence and responsibility in accordance with equipment operating procedures,
  • Loading and unloading of ISO Tanks from delivery trucks,
  • Ensure Quality control inclusive of cleanliness inspections, odour detection and leak detection as well as Statutory testing,
  • Clean and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area, equipment and tools to provide a safe and effective work environment.

Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working in and on ISO Containers & ISO Tanks,
  • ITCO understanding and knowledge,
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude with an inquisitive mind-set,
  • Able to follow instructions and compliance with operational procedures,
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
Qualifications

Qualifications

As a minimum you will possess:

  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry qualifications,
  • Basic welding skills,
  • Experienced in using an industrial high pressure cleaning equipment,
  • Experienced in using hand-tools and painting equipment,
  • Accreditation and/or knowledge of ITCO Standards will be highly regarded,
  • Forklift Ticket will be highly regarded,
  • Experience as a Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker on industrial or mine sites will be highly regarded.
