Job Title: Depot Operations Coordinator

The Opportunity

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our High Wycombe depot, including service delivery, compliance monitoring, and communication with drivers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily operational activities, such as service delivery, compliance monitoring, driver liaison, rostering, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Depot Managers to implement business plans and strategic objectives for the site.
  • Coordinate and execute school runs, route services, special events, and charter operations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, focusing on high-quality service and performance.
  • Manage daily staff resource allocations, including maintaining driver rosters via Coach Manager.
  • Suggest cost-effective staffing strategies in collaboration with management.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in transport, logistics, or operations is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
  • A minimum MR (Medium Rigid) Driver's Licence is required.
  • A current PTD (Passenger Transport Driver) accreditation and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.
  • A current First Aid Certificate is preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, with ability to navigate integrated software systems (experience with TIMS highly regarded).
