As Assistant Depot Manager you will oversee the smooth operation of the depot, ensuring you and your team provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Depot Manager with the day-to-day smooth operation of your Depot
  • Ensure customers feel welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers
  • Lead a small team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Manual counting of containers and not afraid of manual handling
  • Sort recyclable items into their correct categories
  • Cash handling, ensuring accurate record keeping
  • Ensure staff are adhering to all health and safety procedures and highlighting any hazards, faults or risks
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently
About You
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience would be highly preferred
  • Previous experience leading a small or medium team will be highly desirable
  • Knowledge in using Microsoft Teams, Outlook & Excel
  • A current driver's licence
  • You have a great can-do attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
