**The opportunity**:
Supporting the Design Manager the primary objective of the Design Assistant is to work closely with the Design team, to facilitate the timely creation of production artwork and the transmission of information to suppliers.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Administrative tasks incl but not limited to; Maintaining and update files to customer requirements, Track production submissions and approvals plus more
- Work with designer to coordinate the sourcing of fabrics and trims in line with the design brief
- Create and maintain files to accurately record product development with focus on the fulfillment of auditing requirements
- Liaise with the designer to receive and comment on Fabric qualities, lab dips, prints, trims etc within the required production time allocated for the approval process
- Communicate regularly on any production issues / shortfalls throughout all stages of the process, ensuring we are minimizing any impact to the critical path
- Refer to and update critical path to ensure deadlines are on track
- Create production / tech packs for each style designed ensuring that the design details are clearly communicated and accurate.
- Maintain 3-Clicks Milestone report

**The skills and experience you offer us**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Textile/garment construction/pattern making knowledge
- Garment manufacturing knowledge or experience
- Ability to work as an integral team member
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
