This dynamic and strategic role supports the business by building strong partnerships with leaders and driving HR initiatives that align with operational goals.
You'll act as a trusted advisor, change agent, and coach to managers across various functions, contributing to a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR PartnershipAlign HR activities with business goals and strategiesCoach and support leaders through change, growth, and transformation initiativesContribute to the design and execution of HR strategic plansLead the rollout of key HR processes including performance, engagement, and talent developmentEmployee & Industrial RelationsConduct workplace investigations, manage outcomes, and support disciplinary processesPromote positive employee relations and manage union interactions in line with local labour legislationApply knowledge of employment law and industrial relations to coach managers through complex issuesTalent, Recruitment & CapabilityDrive leadership and talent development, succession planning, and workforce capabilitySupport recruitment activities and ensure alignment with employer branding and diversity goalsMaintain and manage HRIS systems and recruitment trackersOrganisational Development & WellbeingPartner with leaders to implement change management and organisational development initiativesPromote a culture of inclusion, safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvementSupport and lead health and safety initiatives across the plantCompliance & RiskEnsure compliance with relevant HR policies, WHS regulations, and ISO standardsManage HR risks and contribute to a culture of accountability and safetyQualifications & ExperienceEssentialTertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or generalist roleStrong knowledge of industrial relations and workplace legislationExperience with coaching, facilitation, and organisational developmentStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to work across both Day and Afternoon shifts as neededDesirableExperience working in a unionised, manufacturing or logistics environmentPrevious exposure to a matrix or global organisation structureKnowledge of HRIS systems and data management toolsExperience in workforce planning and strategic talent reviewsWhat's in it for you?
