Located in the heart of the Illawarra region, you'll enjoy the perfect balance of a relaxed beachside lifestyle with easy access to Wollongong and Sydney.About The PositionStep into an Assistant Venue Manager role with a salary up to $90k (depending on experience) and genuine opportunities to progress into senior management.
You'll be the go-to second in charge, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, mentoring staff, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Position DescriptionOversee daily operations across the bar, bistro, and gamingLead, mentor, and train front-of-house staff to service standardsManage rostering, inventory, and ordering in line with budget targetsEnsure compliance with RSA, WHS, and licensing requirementsWork closely with the Venue Manager to achieve KPIs and drive growthPosition RequirementsPrevious experience in a management or 2IC role in hospitalityStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsSolid knowledge of FOH >BOH operational systemsHands-on approach with a focus on service and guest satisfactionCurrent NSW RSA and RCG certificationsAvailability to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and public holidaysCoastal hospitality group seeks experienced 2IC.
