Role ObjectiveProvide practical, people-focused advice to managers on performance, conduct, and development.Offer guidance within the People & Culture sphere to meet operational business needs.Provide peer coaching and support to HR Advisors and HR Administration on People & Culture matters, including case handling.Lead and manage complex ER matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, and terminations.Manage conciliations and conferences (e.g., unfair dismissals, general protections, bullying, harassment orders).
Collaborate with People & Culture and operational leaders to identify trends and develop long-term solutions.Represent the business in interactions with unions, employment tribunals, and external bodies.Lead People & Culture projects such as policy reviews and leadership ER training.Oversee the rollout and ensure ongoing adherence to the ER framework.Assist in developing and supporting a structured performance management system to drive high-performance teams.About YouBachelor's degree in HR, Employment Relations, Law, or related field.Minimum 6+ years of experience in HR / ER roles within large, fast-paced, complex environments.Strong legal and commercial acumen in ER / IR.Proven success in handling conciliations, workplace investigations, grievances, and terminations.Strong advisory skills, providing practical, people-focused guidance.Ability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.High resilience and discretion in managing sensitive matters.Ability to balance empathy with accountability in decision-making.Glad is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer and Champion of genuine action towards Reconciliation.
