Are you looking to escape Sydney's hustle and bustle and explore some of NSW's beautiful countryside? We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our client for a 3-month contract, providing high-quality HR support to a large operational workforce in the mining sector in Mudgee.

This role reports to the acting HR Manager and is suitable for someone confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to balance daily HR activities with building strong, trusted relationships on site.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide hands-on HR advice and support to managers and employees across the workforce
  • Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning matters
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards are applied consistently
  • Support employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture in a complex operational environment
  • Manage and resolve workplace issues with a practical, solutions-focused approach

About You :

  • Proven experience as a senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, ideally within mining, resources, construction, or other large operational workforces
  • Strong employee relations experience with a practical and commercial approach
  • Ability to communicate confidently and influence at all levels
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment
  • Available to commence at short notice for a 3-month contract
  • Willing to travel to Mudgee weekly; onsite accommodation provided
