The role is part of a dedicated community that extends beyond the classroom and offers opportunities to connect with people from around the world.About the roleNavitas is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join our HR Australasia team.
This role supports HR Business Partners while managing a small client portfolio, delivers generalist HR advice, and drives initiatives that enhance performance, capability, and workplace culture.
You'll work closely with operational managers to implement HR strategies aligned with business needs and wider organisational goals.Key responsibilitiesProvide expert HR advice across staffing, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.Coach and support managers in applying HR policies, awards, and enterprise agreements.Lead and contribute to HR projects, programs, and initiatives.Assist with WHS matters in collaboration with the WHS Business Partner.Flexible location: This role is available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth.QualificationsWhat we're looking forEssentialRelevant HR or tertiary qualifications.Proven experience in a generalist HR role.Strong customer service and communication skills.Experience in reporting, data analysis, and interpreting EBAs/Awards.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.DesirableExperience in a unionised or industrial environment.What we can offerCareer opportunities across our global operations.Recognition and reward for performance.Support to help you be your best, plus flexibility to thrive.Meaningful work with lasting impact for students and communities.Access to LinkedIn Learning for development.Diversity, Equity and InclusionNavitas promotes an inclusive and diverse workforce.
