WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & BUILD
- This Sales Operations & Analytics Specialist position will lead the sales operations, reporting and analytics function for this organisation across ANZ.
- The role will be responsible for sales reporting and analytics; pricing and chargeback maintenance and analytics; contract and tender administration including leading and executing all tender submissions and managing all sales contracts for the duration of their life cycles; sales incentive administration and analytics; and supporting CRM administration.
- The position will develop, maintain, and issue sales reporting tools for the sales and marketing teams to enable them to easily and quickly analyse their actual sales results by customer, product, and geography against budget and prior year after rebates and chargebacks.
- The role will develop, maintain, and issue Salesforce reporting tools for the sales and marketing teams that allow them to review and analyse their sales pipelines to: 1) determine performance of team against sales and marketing strategic initiatives 2) be used in the sales forecasting process 3) understand business risks and opportunities and how these can be mitigated or taken advantage of.
- You will provide monthly and adhoc sales and market analytics to all business leaders that give clear guidance on business performance against plan and prior year, market selling trends and the competitive landscape.
- You will work with ANZ business leaders to structure annual sales incentive plans ensuring all and any sales incentives are measurable and executable with existing resources and work with and provide support to the global incentive team to administer the quarterly sales incentive as per the annual incentive plans.
- You will manage all elements of the contract process and to provide associated commercial analysis on Government and Private Health Care Groups and liaise with contract board members to build and maintain strategic relationships. You will attend relevant tender briefings and/or de-briefing sessions for ANZ to attain strategic position within the tendering process by influencing submission requirements, areas of focus, template formatting etc.
- You will manage and coordinate the tender submission process by effectively partnering with the sales & marketing functions to plan, prepare and formulate proposals in accordance with business strategy and customer expectations. The proposals need to adhere to all contractual rights, obligations, company policies and legal requirements
- You will also manage the ongoing administration and maintenance of special price arrangements and list pricing, including the uploading of prices into the ERP system.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- Bachelor of Finance or Commerce.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Sales Operations, Business Analytics or a similar role.
- Experience in sales reporting and analytics to provide insights on business performance.
- Experience in managing all elements of the contract and tender process, partnering with sales and marketing teams.
- Experience in pricing, material & customer master data maintenance, chargebacks and analytics will be highly regarded.
- Extensive experience and high capability with Excel to analyse and report on large amounts of data.
- Knowledge and previous use of SAP, EDI, SFDC, Microsoft Office and pricing approval tools.
- A love for helping the business to optimise their use of technology and information.
