From elegant weddings to corporate celebrations, you'll play a key role in making every occasion unforgettable.ABOUT THE ROLEWork closely with our Functions Manager and Head Chef to plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding function menus and canapésMaintain high presentation standards and consistency across all dishesEnsure all food safety and hygiene procedures are metBring fresh ideas and creativity to our function offeringABOUT YOUQualified chef with at least 3 years' experience in a similar roleStrong understanding of function and canapé preparation for high-volume eventsExcellent attention to detail, plating, and presentationPositive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work under pressureReliable and flexible with working hours, including nights and weekendsWHAT WE OFFERCasual position to start, with plenty of hours availableStrong potential for career progression within Matthews HospitalitySupportive, professional, and inclusive work environmentBe part of a family-owned group that values and looks after its peopleThe Matthews family has been proudly operating in South Australia for over 80 years, creating healthy, respectful, and rewarding workplaces.
