An exciting opportunity to become Head Chef at Victoria Park Social Club -  a unique city venue located in historic Victoria Park offering relaxed dining and private functions.

We are looking for a professional and passionate Head Chef to lead our small and dedicated team across both private events and a la carte service

You will need strong leadership skills and thrive in a busy environment. Experience in high end function execution and busy a la carte service is a must .This is a very service driven role.

Previous experience with Italian / Mediterranean cuisine an advantage

Responsibilities including;

  • Rostering & staff management
  • Recruitment & Training
  • Excellent communication skills with staff and management
  • Ordering & Inventory
  • Food safety and hygiene
  • Day to day running of the kitchen
  • Preparation for functions and a la carte service
  • Delivering high standards in function service
  • Menu development
  • Reporting to Executive Chef

Excellent working environment with an emphasis on work / life balance with a  5 day roster Wednesday to Sunday with only 2 evening shifts over per week
