**About the Role**
The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic financial insight, business performance management, and long-term value creation across the organisation. This role acts as a key partner to the Executive Team, delivering high-impact financial analysis, planning, and decision support to ensure alignment between operational execution and strategic objectives.

Reporting to the CFO, the Head of FP&A leads the full financial planning cycle including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, capital allocation, and financial consolidation. This role provides forward-looking insights into key business drivers, empowering data-driven decision-making across all levels of the organisation.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management in complex, multi-entity organisations.
- Advanced financial modelling, scenario analysis, and valuation techniques.
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and capital management frameworks.
- Demonstrated capability in aligning financial strategy with broader business goals.
- Experience supporting investment decisions, growth strategies, and M&A activity.
- Ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership of high-performing finance teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
- Demonstrated capacity to consistently deliver a high level of customer service and develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers and colleagues
- Skilled in creating an engaged, collaborative team culture with a focus on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading through change and driving organisational transformation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and complex problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to take initiative in situations with incomplete data or shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills for building trust and credibility across the organisation.
- Adept at facilitating discussions and aligning cross-functional teams around strategic goals.

**Education and Experience**
- CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in senior FP&A or commercial finance roles.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Travel or ASX-listed sector experience preferred.
