This highly successful and rapidly growing transport company, have an amazing success rate of winning large scale National contracts, which has added to their continued success and expansion.

With the demand for transport and logistics increasing, they are well positioned to capitalise on their hard-earned reputation and as such are looking for an experience Senior FP&A professional.

**The Role**
With dual reporting lines to the CFO and the GM Operations you will be tasked with managing the FP&A function for the east coast operations and managing one Commercial Analyst. With an enviable pipeline of work within a growing sector we are now looking for someone to implement more sophistication and rigour around:

- Ensuring the weekly and monthly financials are produced in a timely and accurate manner to enable consolidation & publication of group financials;
- Providing analysis on weekly and monthly financials to the EGM Operations & GM Finance;
- Presenting the East Coast weekly results to the Executive Group with commentary;
- Plan & implement tools to enable better reporting of weekly and monthly financials, working with the GM Finance (e.g. Power BI);
- Working closely with the GM Finance to refine the current weekly process with the aim of making it more efficient;
- Providing oversight to the Analyst preparing weekly and monthly financials;
- Supporting the EGM of Operations in the East with Business Cases, Tenders, etc;
- Budgeting and forecasting for board approval in conjunction with the GM of Finance and CFO;
- Weekly and monthly general ledger close preparation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity; and
- Mentoring, training and upskilling of hands on Analyst;
Success in this role will be future proofing the FP&A function for expected growth and giving the business adaptability to market conditions. The first 12 months will involve automation, streamlining of processes & reduction of any duplication between operations & Head Office.

**About You**
As an experienced FP&A professional, you will understand the importance of best practice, be prepared to review, overhaul and implement numerous improvements to harness the existing ERP (Dynamics AX). You will have a natural affinity with Excel and BI tools and genuinely enjoy adding value to the streamlining process.

You will be a CA/ CPA, ideally with a background in transport/ logistics/ supply chain or similar and be able to understand the drivers and nuances of contract management.
