What You'll Be Doing
The Registered Nurse uses best practice evidence to deliver person-centred nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
Selection Criteria
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
Competencies in and knowledge of providing nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means, and strong interpersonal skills.
Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care with a commitment to quality improvement.
Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with leadership and change management in care coordination.
Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence and skills.
Ability to prioritise and organise workload with integrity and accountability.
Additional Requirements
: Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases (OASV) Category A; compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015; influenza vaccination proof for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).
