We are a sixth-generation, family-owned premium beverage wholesaler with a portfolio spanning fine wine, artisanal spirits, and exciting emerging categories. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Head of NSW Bars to take charge of building our spirits and beverage presence across Sydney and broader NSW.

This role is hands-on and trade-focused. You'll spend most of your time in venue — building relationships, opening doors, supporting the sales team, and making sure our brands are front and centre in the state's most influential bars, hotels, and venues.

Your role

As the Head of NSW Bars, you will:

  • Drive sales and distribution of our spirits and beverages across Sydney and regional NSW.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with leading bars, hotels, and on-premise groups.
  • Present, pitch, and negotiate with customers to grow listings and volume.
  • Activate supplier and brand initiatives through events, tastings, staff trainings, and in-venue activations.
  • Support the local sales team with brand education, trade engagement, and customer introductions.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the NSW bar scene, reporting on competitor activity and spotting new opportunities.
About you

You're known and respected in the Sydney/NSW hospitality scene. You thrive on being in venue, you understand what drives bars, and you know how to combine trade credibility with commercial outcomes.

To succeed, you'll bring:

  • Sales experience in beverages (spirits and/or premium wine preferred).
  • A strong hospitality/bar background with real connections across Sydney and NSW.
  • Confidence presenting and pitching to decision-makers.
  • A "hands-on" approach — you're as comfortable running a staff training or tasting as you are closing a deal.
  • Self-motivation, energy, and the ability to work both independently and with the team.
  • Computer literacy (Salesforce and Microsoft Office experience helpful).
  • A current driver's licence and flexibility to travel regionally.
