Lumen Christi College is seeking a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. The Finance Officer plays a key role in the financial management of the College with the efficient and timely handling of all vendor payments and financial reports.

This is an ongoing, term time, part-time position, 22.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm, Wednesday – Friday or by negotiation commencing 1 January 2026.

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

· An accounting qualification and/or relevant financial and administrative work experience

· Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community

· A minimum of two years' financial and administrative experience

· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams

· Accurate data entry skills and a strong attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work autonomously and in a busy team

· Effective time management

· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

· Have/or obtain a Working with Children Check (WWC)

· Have/or obtain a current Crimtrac Police Clearance

· Completed, or be willing to complete, Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.

Desirable

· Experience with AoS, Zycus or working in a school environment

· Have/or obtain a current First Aid certificate
