We're looking for a mid-senior level graphic designer who sees design as a problem-solving tool; someone who knows a beautiful visual is only successful when it actually works.

This is a full-time role at a boutique Brisbane marketing agency where you'll work closely with a multi-disciplinary team across brand, content, digital and communications. This is a varied role where you'll collaborate with marketers, writers and strategists to build brands, support digital marketing campaigns, social media, web design and proposals, creating all forms of visual communication – from logo development to complex tender graphics.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for designing and delivering creative solutions across a wide range of mediums. Your work will simplify, clarify and inspire.

You'll work on:

  • New and existing brands, designing corporate logos, branding elements and guidelines

  • Social media assets including carousels, image tiles and video

  • Digital design including eDMs, digital banners, GIFs, video

  • Photo retouching, editing, and creating mock-ups

  • Website design including WordPress, Squarespace and WIX

  • Tender submissions, pitch decks and proposals

  • Infographics and visual storytelling

  • Ongoing creative asset development and production

  • Templates, layouts, and document formatting

  • Corporate and facilities branding

You'll coordinate projects from concept to completion, balancing creativity with brand consistency, always keeping the target audience in mind.

What we're looking for:

To be considered for this role, you will be creative and understand the role of visual communication in building trust and driving business outcomes.

At Focused Marketing, we work in the corporate space with clients in energy, sustainability, infrastructure, finance, health and even aerospace. While we're not designing fast-moving consumer campaigns or retail products, our work is no less creative – just more strategic. Your ability to create memorable, effective design solutions will play a crucial role in shaping how our clients are perceived and understood.

You'll bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a design or creative role

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential). Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Word. Bonus if you're familiar with WordPress, Canva and Mailchimp

  • Website design and development skills are favourable

  • The ability to design across a variety of digital and print assets, working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

  • A solutions-first mindset and sharp eye for detail

  • Willingness to expand and adapt your skillset

  • Comfortable operating in a PC/Windows environment
