We're Hiring: Warehouse & Showroom Assistant

Location: Bayswater North, VIC 3153 Company: Topware – Specialists in Sanitary Ware

Join Topware, a trusted and growing supplier of premium sanitary ware across Victoria. We're looking for a dependable, proactive team member with a forklift licence and a positive attitude to support both our warehouse operations and showroom service.

What You'll Be Doing

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders for delivery
  • Receive, store, and organise incoming inventory
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies
  • Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records
  • Pack and label products for dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Operate forklifts to load/unload delivery trucks
  • Occasionally assist with container unloading
  • Deliver orders using the company van
  • Efficiently manage stock movement in a compact warehouse

Showroom Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist walk-in customers
  • Support colleagues with in-person and phone inquiries
  • Update and maintain showroom displays
  • Provide basic customer service and product support

What You'll Need

  • Forklift Licence: Valid; experience with multiple types is a plus
  • Driver's Licence: Full licence with a clean driving record
  • Physical Fitness: Able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate picking and product handling
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Spot and resolve inventory or packing issues
  • Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using inventory software
  • Team Spirit: Clear communicator and collaborative mindset
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous warehouse experience is essential.
  • English Proficiency: Fluent reading and writing for invoices and records
  • Local Applicants Preferred: Ideally based near Bayswater North
  • Presentation & Reliability: Friendly, punctual, and customer-focused
