We are on the hunt for an experienced **Maintenance Fitter** to join our client, an Australian Machine Tools business, on a **full-time permanent** basis and assist with machine maintenance and repairs, as well as the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and the showroom.

**Working in a small team, the position will involve undertaking a variety of tasks**:

- Test and prepare machines for delivery (including accessories)
- Carry out machine maintenance and basic machine repairs
- Receiving of stock and arranging storage, verify incoming inventory
- Pick and pack orders for despatch, and loading/unloading trucks
- General warehouse duties such as monitoring stock levels
- Assisting with setting up of showroom and exhibition displays on occasions

**To be successful in this role, you will be expected to demonstrate**:

- Trade Qualifications in Engineering and experience as a Maintenance or Electrical Fitter working with Industrial Machine Tools
- Current Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of common Machine tools such as Lathes, Bandsaws, Mills, Drills etc.
- A current Restricted Electrical Ticket and LF Forklift License will be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and in a small team
- Effective communication skills, good attention to detail and strong prioritising skills
