Project Manager
If you're looking to make a difference in your own backyard, this career is for you.
You know that to make a meaningful contribution there needs to be connection and collaboration across the teams. Here's your opportunity to help our people make a big impact.
In this role, you'll:
At the heart of Sydney Trains' Digital Systems transformation, you'll lead the operational integration of complex new signalling and train control technology projects into our existing rail operational and maintenance environments. This isn't just about managing timelines and budgets—it's about operational integration. You'll ensure that new systems and assets are seamlessly embedded into live railway operations, with a sharp focus on readiness, safety and long-term performance.
You'll be the interface—connecting teams, technologies, and timelines. From understanding business impacts and risks, to developing readiness activities through stakeholder engagement, you'll oversee every moving part to ensure safe, compliant, and effective delivery. You'll work within the Digital Systems Business Integration Division, driving change that will shape the future of Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink. Your decisions will carry weight, your leadership will be trusted, and your impact will be felt across the network.

About you
You're a seasoned Project Manager with a strong track record in rail, transport, or infrastructure. You understand the complexity of live environments and have hands-on experience with interface management and business readiness. You don't just deliver projects—you embed them into operations, ensuring systems are ready to be maintained and operated safely and reliably.
You bring technical qualifications, a Diploma of Project Management (or equivalent experience), and at least five years of experience delivering projects on time and on budget. You're confident navigating stakeholder relationships, refining schedules, and managing risk. Most importantly, you thrive in transformation, you see change as an opportunity to lead, innovate, and build something that lasts.
