Rumi on Louth is a privately-owned, off-grid luxury eco-resort located on the breathtaking Louth Island off South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. We're seeking an experienced and creative Marketing & Business Development Executive to drive campaigns, partnerships, and business growth, elevating Rumi on Louth's profile as one of Australia's most exclusive island destinations.

This is a unique opportunity to bring your marketing and business development expertise to life in a truly spectacular setting.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering marketing campaigns across digital, print, and partnership channels
  • Driving brand awareness and guest engagement through compelling storytelling and content
  • Building business development opportunities through trade, partnerships, and industry networks
  • Managing social media, website updates, and EDMs to maintain a strong digital presence
  • Creating sales and promotional materials aligned with Rumi's luxury brand identity
  • Working closely with the Resort Manager and F&B team to promote events, packages, and dining experiences
  • Monitoring campaign performance, analysing results, and making data-driven recommendations
  • Staying ahead of market trends to position Rumi competitively in luxury eco-tourism

About You

  • Proven marketing and/or business development experience (hospitality, tourism, or luxury brands preferred)
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • Strong content creation and campaign management skills (digital + offline)
  • Confident working independently, using initiative, and driving outcomes without micromanagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling
  • Professional, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote working environment

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience creating and managing marketing campaigns end-to-end
  • Proficiency with digital platforms (social media, email marketing, analytics tools)
  • Current driver's licence (preferred for occasional off-island requirements)
