Blood Orange is looking for a reliable Sous Chef to join our growing team to help us take this well established business to the next stage. Located in the heart of Hawthorn East, Blood Orange has been serving great quality food and drinks to the locals for years.

You will work alongside and be trained with the current head chef to learn all aspects of the business. There is a focus on catering during the week while continuing to produce an all day menu.

You will be part of a vibrant team who all have a passion for the industry.

We are looking for the following skills in the candidate:

  • Punctual and organised
  • Creativity while remaining efficient and focused on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent knowledge of food practices and techniques as well as adherence to cost and stock control
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Availability for an immediate start

We are offering the right candidate 2 or 3 days off a week. Must be available weekends and public holidays. This role is daytime hours only.
