We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and people-oriented Customer Experience Coordinator, who will be an integral part of the NARC leadership team, responsible for ensuring excellence in customer experience, driving sales, leading our service standards and motivating our dynamic CX team to achieve the best results and ensure that every visit is a memorable one.

In October 2023 we opened Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre (NARC) on behalf of the City of Darebin. This state of the art and fully accessible venue comprises indoor and outdoor pools, aquatic play spaces, gym and group fitness studios, allied health suites, café, reformer Pilates studio, change rooms and outdoor relaxation areas.

Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC) is the fifth venue managed by Clublinks in Darebin, in partnership with the City of Darebin. Other venues currently managed in Darebin include two community Indoor Sports Stadiums - Narrandjeri Stadium and Darebin Community Sports Stadium (DCSS), along with two public golf course Bundoora Park Public Golf Course and Northcote Public Golf Course.

More about the role

Reporting to the Sales & CX Manager, you will hit the ground running to ensure excellence in customer experience at NARC, supporting sales and motivating the CX and Membership Services teams to achieve the best results.

The Customer Experience Coordinator role responsibilities include:

  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding and leading the NARC Customer Experience team
  • Support Sales and assist in the venue marketing planning
  • Support in the development and execution of the Customer Journey with Sales and CX Manager
  • Support the Sales and CX Manger in Staff Training, development and support
  • Lead campaigns to attract and retain Health and Wellbeing members and Learn to Swim members
  • Lead great customer experience for all members and visitors
  • Support the sales staff team to achieve sales targets
  • Key staffing functions – such as rosters, staff meetings, communications etc.

About You:

  • Experience in leading service-related teams
  • Membership database management/CRM experience
  • Experience in supporting teams in the health, fitness, leisure or recreation industries is highly regarded
  • A people person with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a varied roster with opens, closes and weekend work
  • You have a member / customer led ethos and are committed to ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Ability and experience to deal with a variety of customer and community events
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Canva, and Perfect Gym is highly regarded
  • Adopt an energetic and vibrant approach
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
