We are a growing pub hotel group with a strong focus on hospitality, gaming, and beverage operations. Our venues are known for creating vibrant atmospheres where locals and visitors alike enjoy great service, entertainment, and memorable experiences.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Training & Development Manager to join our operations team. This role is ideal for a current Venue Manager seeking their next career step — someone ready to move beyond day-to-day venue management and into a broader leadership role.

Reporting directly to a dynamic and supportive Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing staff, enhancing customer service, and ensuring our service, ambience, and overall guest experience are second to none.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs for both new and existing staff.
  • Coach and mentor team members across gaming, bar, floor, and service operations.
  • Work with venue managers to embed a culture of excellent customer service.
  • Set benchmarks for service quality and monitor performance.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the overall guest experience across all venues.
  • Foster teamwork, professionalism, and consistency across the group.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Venue Manager or in training, people development, or management within the hospitality/pub industry (experience in gaming and beverage operations highly valued).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • A passion for customer service and raising standards.
  • Organised, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Able to work across multiple venues and build strong relationships with staff and managers.
  • Essential Qualifications:

  • RCG and Advanced RCG

  • RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
What We Offer
  • The chance to work alongside an experienced, forward-thinking Operations Manager.
  • A dynamic and supportive team culture.
  • The opportunity to make a significant impact on our service standards and guest experience.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • Clear career growth opportunities within our expanding group.
