Restaurant Retail Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the operations of our busy establishment in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality and retail, and the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high service standards.
About the Role
Lead and manage daily front-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment.
Coordinate reservations, functions, and service flow to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.
Motivate, train, and supervise staff to maintain a professional and customer-focused team.
Uphold and enhance customer service standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor stock levels and product offerings to meet customer demand.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies, pricing, and promotional activities.
Manage financial performance including budgets, records, and reporting.
Maintain inventory and financial documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Recruit, train, and support staff to ensure service excellence.
Promote the restaurant's food and beverage offering through advertising and marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
About YouPrevious experience in a retail or hospitality management role (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong leadership and staff management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail.
Understanding or appreciation of Italian dining and hospitality is a plus.
