The Role

  • Provides consultancy and support services to internal and external stakeholders in relation to Freedom of Information applications.
  • Identifies, acquires, researches and evaluates requested documents to determine suitability for release.
  • Actions Freedom of Information application requests and monitors compliance with timeframes as prescribed under relevant legislation.
  • Undertakes initial search and evaluation of requested documentation and makes recommendations to the Coordinator.
  • Contributes to the research, review and development of internal policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 1992 and relevant legislation.
