Role

Based in the Perth CBD, this role will provide maintenance and reliability engineering expertise to optimise the performance, integrity and lifecycle of client assets. You will play a key role in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, conducting reliability analysis and risk assessments, and ensuring project scopes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Role accountabilities

· Provide maintenance and reliability engineering expertise to support asset performance, lifecycle optimisation, and integrity management.

· Develop and implement maintenance strategies, reliability modelling, and risk assessments.

· Manage scopes of work from planning through to execution, applying project control principles to meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements.

· Apply and oversee project controls processes, including cost tracking, schedule management, and resource allocation.

· Act as a primary point of contact with clients, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality service delivery.

· Mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Required Competencies / Skills

· A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Reliability engineering or related field.

· Extensive experience in maintenance and asset management processes within Oil & Gas sector is highly desirable; Mining experience also considered.

· Strong background in asset integrity, reliability modelling, and maintenance optimisation.

· Demonstrated ability to manage scopes of work and apply project controls.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven client-facing delivery.

· Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and influence multi-disciplinary teams.

· Familiarity with major capital project lifecycles and asset integrity frameworks.

· Familiarity with maintenance management systems and proficiency in utilising software tools for maintenance planning and tracking.

· Solid understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices within the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors.

· Ability to conduct a detailed audit of CMMS and supporting maintenance documentation to prepare reports and make recommendations. Experience with SAP will be highly regarded
