Join Our Tuckshop Team Assistant Convenor Position Available

Rochedale State High School P&C Association is seeking a friendly and reliable Tuckshop Assistant Convenor to join our vibrant school community.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type:Term-time employee (during school terms 38 hrs/week)
  • Rostered hours: Between 8:00am and 4:30pm, during school terms
  • Location: Rochedale State High School
  • Pay: In line with the Parents and Citizens Association Award – State 2016 (Retail Operations Stream)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day tuckshop operations and staff supervision
  • Manage stock ordering, deliveries, and monthly stocktakes
  • Ensure food hygiene, safety, and compliance with regulations
  • Support volunteer engagement and training
  • Handle cash, banking, and financial reporting
  • Contribute to menu planning, budgeting, and tuckshop reporting
  • Maintain communication with the P&C Executive and school community

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or food service management
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and support a team
  • Commitment to community values and service excellence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to service excellence and OH&S standards
  • Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
