About The School
Tingalpa State School
is a vibrant state primary school located just 13 km east of Brisbane's CBD, with an enrolment of approximately 500 students. Our school prides itself on its welcoming and inclusive multicultural community, where the health and wellbeing of every member is a shared priority.

Over the past five years, our school canteen has undergone several refurbishments, evolving into a modern and much-loved space. It now features a popular Coffee Nook , serving café-quality beverages for parents and staff, making it a hub of connection within our school community.

About The Role
As our Tuckshop Convenor, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of the tuckshop, providing fresh, nutritious meals and excellent service to the Tingalpa State School community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve healthy, cooked meals for students and staff.
• Oversee tuckshop operations, including stock management, budgeting, and compliance.
• Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards.
• Supervise and work collaboratively with the canteen assistant.

About You
We're Looking For Someone With

• Food handling experience and knowledge of safe food practices.
• Barista experience (preferred).
• An understanding of tuckshop or small business operations.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and in a team.
• A passion for creating healthy, homemade-style meals.
