About this opportunityLoreto College is seeking to appoint an experienced Tuckshop Manager, in an acting position, on a fixed term basis commencing on Tuesday, 07 October 2025 until Friday, 05 December 2025. There may be an opportunity for extension beyond this period for the successful applicant.The Acting Tuckshop Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient preparation and delivery of food services to our students and staff.  The key duties of the role include:Planning of menus for the Tuckshop, paying particular attention to dietary requirements of customersTaking a leading role in the daily operations of the Tuckshop, including an overview of the duties of a dedicated Tuckshop AssistantBe responsible for ordering and stock controlMaintain a roster of student and community volunteers to assist with the delivery of Tuckshop servicesEnsuring the Tuckshop Assistant and Volunteers undertake the correct storage and presentation of food items for sale to staff and studentsReview requests and provide catering for school functionsAssist with the service of food and drink items during Tuckshop opening times and monitoring student behaviour and activity within the Tuckshop areaCoordinate the daily cleaning of Tuckshop area, including, but not limited to, washing and cleaning of equipment, maintaining tidy and hygienic preparation and service areas and cleaning of service utensils.Ensuring that a safe environment is maintained at all times, including monitoring of equipment quality and performance, actioning any spillages or obstructions in the service or public areasComply with College Workplace Health and Safety directions and requirements.Other duties as requested by the Principal, Director of Finance and Business Operations and/or another CLT memberPlease view further details about the position via our Employment page on our College's website > Applications close 4.00pm Thursday, 02 October How to applyTo submit an application for this role, use the Seek Apply button.
