Events and Marketing Co-ordinator

We're on the hunt for an emerging, high-energy event & marketing co-ordinator to join the travla crew on a parental leave contract, managing the planning & execution of our external events & activations, support trade communications and general sales & marketing administration and coordination.
Employment Date: October 25 - April 26
Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (7 months)
Location: Melbourne or surrounding areas
Travel: VIC-focused, with interstate travel required
Key ResponsibilitiesEvents
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of travla's events, activations and sponsorships (including music festivals, community festivals, rodeos, sporting events, tastings, bar shouts, and more)
- Manage logistics: suppliers, staff rosters, stock, equipment, transport, and on-site troubleshooting, return of any stock through systems, etc.
- Own bump in/bump out and ensure equipment (marquees, bars, eskies, signage, teardrops, etc.) are maintained, tracked, and accounted for after each event
- Where required, be the face of travla on the ground - represent the brand with confidence and professionalism
- Coordinate with ambassadors and partners to maximise brand presence, energy, and alignment on site
- Travel interstate when required to run activities, including weekend and evening work.
- Assist with organisation, planning, execution and logistics, travel and accommodation for talent and partners connected to events
- Ensure compliance for all event activity with RSA, safety standards, travla WHS policies, and brand values
- Assist the Content Manager by collecting content at events, ensuring timely scheduling, and aligning with brand guidelines
- Collect and analyse feedback from activations and events - manage budgets, post-event summaries and reconciliations
Marketing, Sales & Trade
- Collaborate with and support the Sales & Marketing teams to assist with developing and executing customer marketing campaigns & activations across on and off-premise
- Update and manage travla's events calendar, website content, and monitor public-facing inboxes for customer/partner inquiries
- e-commerce management and communication with third parties and consumers
- General administrative support to the marketing team, including quote & market research, database management and document preparation
- General administrative support to the field sales team, including collation of requests, filing, printing and management of POS assets and merch
