You'll be joining a small, passionate team, working closely with our Founder, Senior Designer, E‑Commerce Marketing Manager, and Marketing Co‑Ordinator.

Must love dogs and/or cats (but let's be honest, who doesn't?).

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, ideas-led, self-starter who is fast-moving and trend setting (not just trend following… yawn) to join our small but mighty team. This hands-on role is suited to someone with 2+ years of social media experience, ideally within an in-house, creative environment, who thrives in chaotic (but the good kind) settings and has a strong analytical side to back it up.

Your week will primarily involve researching and ideation, creating our own memorable moments, putting together the brand social strategy, and analysing efforts for continuous improvement for online awareness and engagement.

You will report to the E-Commerce Marketing Manager, however, you will own your role entirely. You must be obsessed with and use all the relevant social platforms Meta and Tik Tok primarily, as well as be proficient in editing tools to bring our story to life.

Your Responsibilities

Social Media

·      Develop organic social media strategy for Instagram, Tik Tok and other platforms if necessary, using trends (as inspiration), brand values and business strategy, and marketing insight

·      Create content for all social media platforms - filming, photographing, and editing

·      Planning and posting all social media content to platforms

·      Building the brand's social strategy as leaders in pet care

·      Keeping on top of industry trends, using them as inspiration to create our own trends (not just follow)

·      Reporting and implementing actionable insights

·      Bringing Bell & Bone's personality to life online - capturing the raw moments, bringing out the joy, coming up with creative ideas to stand out and push the boundaries.

Community Management

·      Assisting with influencer relationships online – scouting and maintaining

·      Managing the strategy and relationship with collaborating brands where social media is involved

Marketing Coordinator

·      Assist with filming and editing ads for paid advertising when required

·      Assist with setting up ads when required

·      Assist with event set up when required

*And other marketing work as directed by the Managing Director

Skills required

·      Strong understanding of Adobe Suite/Photoshop/Premiere Pro

·      Strong understanding of video and photo editing in-platform – eg, edits and CapCut
