OSHC Educator

What you'll be doing

• Providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students before and after school and school holidays.
• Planning and facilitating a range of educational and recreational activities to support the physical, social, and emotional development of children.
• Assisting with the preparation and service of snacks and light meals
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing the OSHC program
• Collaborating with the OSHC Coordinator and other team members to continuously improve the program
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying), or a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education Support, or a related field
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services Regulations and Law
• Knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework and the National Quality Standard
• Experience in delivering high-quality education and care within an Education and Care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Embraces risk play, outdoor learning, and child-led experiences
• A genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of children
