Join Our Team at St Columba’s OSHC – Wilston
We’re looking for casual educators to join our vibrant team at St Columba’s OSHC for before school, after school, and vacation care shifts. At St Columba’s OSHC, we care for up to 150 incredible kids each day. Our service aims to provide the highest possible care and supervision for all children attending the program.
Our program is all about sparking creativity, encouraging self-directed play, and bringing their interests and hobbies to life. If you’re passionate about inspiring young minds and creating meaningful experiences, we’d love to hear from you Apply today.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing care and genuine support for children in your care
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
- Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with your team
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care
- Come to work excited, knowing you’re making a real difference in children’s lives
Job Requirements
- Certificate III/Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines) or willingness to complete the studies
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
