About the role

The Telecommunications Support Officer is responsible to the ICT Configuration Management Lead for coordinating and effectively administering ICT telephony assets and services across all Department for Education sites to meet the service delivery objectives. This includes the position delivering high-quality auditing and control process management to support the financial and physical management of telephone assets and services, and by maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and effective management of the departmental asset records and supporting information.

Qualifications

Essential: Nil

Desirable: Service Now Fundamentals, ITIL Foundations

Special conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
