**About the Role**:
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Operations Support Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the WHS unit.

The role involves administering WHS training programs, managing travel and accommodation bookings for the WHS unit, processing invoices, raising purchase orders and reimbursements through Basware, and overseeing the electrical tag and testing machine program. The WHS Operations Support Officer also plays a key role in the planning and scheduling of WHS team meetings and provides general support and assistance to the WHS unit as required.

The position requires a high level of initiative, professional judgement, and autonomy, as well as a sound understanding of WHS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the efficient functioning of the Safety unit.

**Desirable**: Certificate III in Business or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
