We're working with a large government organisation that's driving some of the most impactful sustainability and Net Zero initiatives in the state. They're seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of key projects across emissions baselining, offsets, and Net Zero planning.

In this role, you'll be right at the centre of sustainability transformation-providing administrative, reporting, and coordination support while also contributing to process improvements, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

You'll partner with both internal teams and external consultants to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and help shape pathways to Net Zero.

Key activities

  • Coordinating across multiple sustainability projects, ensuring governance, procurement, and reporting requirements are met
  • Collecting and analysing FY25 emissions data across all scopes
  • Developing robust processes for ongoing reporting and compliance
  • Preparing documentation and reports to support senior decision-making
  • Working closely with a variety of stakeholders to identify emissions reduction opportunities

Skills and experience

  • Background in sustainability, Net Zero, or emissions reporting
  • Experience in project coordination across multiple, complex initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and governance
  • Sharp administration, reporting, and financial tracking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Clear communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive professional who can work independently and collaboratively
