About this role:
Heritage Glass is looking for an enthusiastic Project coordinator/Estimator / Drafter to join our team, in order to manage a significant increase with new projects in our company.
This is an opportunity to work with a friendly and exciting team in a full-time position.
As the Project Coordinator / Estimator / Drafter, you will work with our experienced project team from estimation and procurement through to Project management and co-ordination, going through the processes of façade delivery from the beginning to the handover of the projects.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Read and understand plans, associated reports and specifications to produce timely and accurate quotations (Commercial façade /Window system estimating)
- Coordinating the process of concept design, mock-up, detailed shop drawing and engineering;
- Preparing the samples for client's approval;
- Coordinate design and procurement.
- Monitoring the process of logistics and installation.
- Review drawings on CAD
- Providing project support to assist in meeting records, document control etc.
- Site walk with the clients or subcontractor during the installation process;
- Assisting in management and coordination of subcontractors (such as installers), and close teamwork with parties involved;
- Updating the registers for the record of the project development;
- QA coordination, project cost monitoring and after-sale service assistance;
- Reporting and liaising with project manager;
To be successful in this role
To be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, the suitable candidate will require the following attributes:
- 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry as a project coordinator, estimator or contract administrator would be preferred.
- Engineering or construction management degree graduates would be preferred
- Knowledge of relative Australian Standards and knowledge of design and specification would be preferred.
- Auto Cad proficient.
- High attention to detail and being able to work under pressure;
- Positive and energetic personality to work along within a team;
- Well-organized attitude and excellent communication skills;
- IT skills Include AutoCAD, Bluebeam and similar experience .
- Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin candidate only.
- Must have the right visa to work full-time in Australia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
