About the role.
We're on the lookout for a Marketing Specialist to join our corporate team, based in our Osborne Park head office. You'll be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand positioning nationally, increase customer engagement, and support growth across our divisions.
You'll be the champion for all things marketing at Carbon, meaning you'll own both strategy and execution. This role would suit an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator (around 5 years experience in a fast-paced, generalist role) who is looking to grow their career and move into a management role within 6-12 months.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role you need to have a passion for marketing and growth, and a desire to be hands-on throughout the process. Ideally you'll possess:
- 5 years previous experience in Marketing
- Experience working in a hands-on role automously
- Experience creating branded marketing material, including written communications, imagery and video content
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative, WordPress and Hubspot
- Experience coordinating and managing events
- Ensure brand consistency across the business
- Strong ability for planning to ensure all projects and campaigns are delivered
- A high level of digital literacy and information technology skill
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline, is desired but not required
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Developing relationships with our Partners (stakeholders) to understand their marketing and growth needs
- Strategically plan, pitch, create and implement marketing tasks end-to-end
- Create or write content and assets for collateral, events, eDMs, website updates and marketing campaigns
- Plan, create and schedule content across all social media channels to ensure the content is up to date, engaging and appealing
- Regularly engage with the social media community through comments, likes, and responses on other channels in line with customer service standards
- Create marketing collateral: Invitations, flyers and signs on a needs basis, but in a timely and proactive manner.
- Assist with the planning and execution of events as required
- Produce monthly marketing reports for senior management
- General administration and adhoc support tasks within the Marketing department.
