About the role
We are looking for a Brisbane-based Account Manager who can do more than just "sell stuff". You will be building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping mid-market and enterprise organisations stay ahead of ever-evolving cyber threats.
This role is specifically focused on the Brisbane market, so success will hinge on your ability to leverage an established network and strong, pre-existing sales relationships. You will be a key part of our growth story, acquiring new clients, managing ongoing relationships, and working closely with our technical teams to deliver solutions that genuinely make a difference.
Some of what you will be doing:
- Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities in Brisbane and the broader Queensland market
- Building and executing a sales strategy that achieves and exceeds targets
- Maintaining a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and industry events
- Staying on top of the latest cyber threats, technologies, news and trends so you can speak with authority
- Becoming an expert in our services and competitive positioning
- Representing Cythera at conferences, webinars, and networking events
About you
We know the perfect candidate does not always tick every box, so if you are close and have the right attitude, we would love to hear from you.
- 3–5 years' experience in sales and/or account management in cybersecurity, IT services, or tech
- Based in Brisbane with an established local network and proven sales relationships
- A natural relationship builder who engages effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong administrative skills, including CRM experience, and expert understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, positive and proactive
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with our local team.
