About the role

R J Sanderson & Associates Pty Ltd is seeking an Accountant with high level of experience in handling company and trust accounts, to join our team in Corowa, NSW. As a qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive taxation and accounting services to a diverse range of clients, with a focus on supporting the firm's strategic objectives and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and lodging taxation returns for individuals, businesses and other entities
  • Providing tax planning and minimization strategies to clients
  • Conducting financial analysis and preparing financial reports
  • Advising clients on a wide range of accounting and taxation matters
  • Collaborating with the broader team to deliver exceptional client service
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of process improvements

What we're looking for

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting or taxation role
  • Strong technical knowledge of taxation and accounting principles, as well as relevant software such as XERO would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
