Head of Cyber Solutions
The Cyber Solutions team is an integral part of Aon's Specialty Solutions business. Compromising of two distinct streams, the team provides risk consulting and insurance risk transfer to Aon's clients base across Financial Services, Global Corporate and National. A constantly evolving risk, Cyber is a key part of Aon's client value proposition and an area of continued growth and opportunity.
The Head of Cyber Solutions is responsible for setting and driving Aon's Cyber Risk strategy for Australia in consultation with the broader global Cyber practice. This senior leadership reports to the Head of Specialty Solutions Australia with enterprise-wide leadership impact across all parts of Aon Australia and other Aon Regions (Pacific, APAC, Global).

What The Day Will Look Like
You are responsible for the overall growth of the Cyber practice in Australia incorporating new client acquisition, growth of existing clients, and identifying organic and inorganic growth opportunities across the segments.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Take ownership of the Cyber Insurance and Cyber Risk consulting services pipeline
- Lead and manage the conversion of identified new business targets for cyber insurance and consulting
- Prepare and present proposals to clients for risk consulting and/or insurance
- Own the Cyber content in tender proposals and participate in tender pitches
- Engage with insurers around maximising their offering and contribute to incident response panel
- Deliver insurance risk transfer solutions to clients through strong insurer connectivity and broker negotiations
- Lead the team to execute and manage Cyber Risk consulting services including cyber incident readiness assessments, threat simulations, resilience evaluations and/or risk profiling
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure that they and their clients/prospective clients are aware of their Cyber risk exposures and the value of Aon's offerings in helping to protect organisations
- Promote and deliver to clients Aon's Cyber Risk Analyser and other data and analytics tools
- Drive operational efficiencies and support digital transformation initiatives through data utilisation and innovation including the use of Aon digital tools (AI, Analysers) to optimise strategic and client outcomes.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Experience at engaging with senior executives and developing relationships with the media and clients
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the highest standard of presentation
- Strong time management skills and proven experience working in a high-pressure professional environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in team environment
- Engaging and enthusiastic personal style
- In-depth knowledge and experience (including Tertiary qualifications) working within the Cyber risk space; whether this has arisen from an IT security, legal, fraud, risk accounting or compliance background
- Exposure to P&L management
- Confident in presenting to Boards and 'C' suite executives on Cyber resilience and risk prevention strategies.
