About the role

As a Systems Administrator at Evolve, you'll be working with a highly skilled team to resolve a variety of technical issues and take effective responsibility for clients delegated to you as their primary contact point. You'll be required to support client environments with a security-first mindset both on-site and via remote access tools.

We are entrusted to maintain and secure our clients against the innumerable threats in today's modern I.T. landscape and thus we take this incredibly seriously.

We want you to help us keep our pace by innovating, automating and creating with us to effectively solve our client's problems and ensure I.T. systems serve as business-enabling tools. We are looking for someone who can give modern and informed solutions and are willing to take initiative to solve issues before they arise.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have in excess of 2 years' experience in a Systems Administration role within a fast-past environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will possess strong logical troubleshooting and administration abilities, including but not limited to the following:

• Windows Server 2016 – 2022, and the following associated roles and features:
• DHCP, DNS, ADDS (DFS not required but desirable)
• Microsoft 365 platform administration:
• Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Security/Compliance not required but desirable)

Network experience/understanding of networking fundamentals:

• OSI model, DHCP and DNS purpose and configuration, firewall configuration, NAT, routing and subnetting.
• Experience with VoIP technologies is highly desirable.
• VMware vCenter/vSphere and/or Microsoft Azure experience is highly desirable.
• Sophos firewalls and server/endpoint protection platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise PSA (formerly Manage) and other MSP solutions is desirable.

* Having worked for an MSP previously will be advantage in your application.

* A current driving licence with a clean record.

* Be willing to undertake a Police background check.

* Candidates must be able to participate in our after-hours emergency service roster as required.
