They say 'if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life' — and at Highview, we believe that loving your job starts with the right environment, the right people, and meaningful work that makes a difference.
We're a multi-award winning accounting and financial advisory firm based in Victoria and Queensland, with close to 25 years of experience helping individuals and businesses succeed. More than just a workplace, Highview is a place where careers are built, ideas are encouraged, and people are genuinely supported.
We encourage our team members to set and achieve career goals through guidance and support.
About the role
This is a varied and hands-on role. You'll be the go-to person for all things IT across our offices. You'll provide day-to-day support to ensure our systems running smoothly, technical issues are responded to with speed and professionalism, and work with external vendors when higher-level support is required.
Key responsibilities
- Provide IT support and troubleshooting for staff across multiple offices.
- Maintain and support servers, networks, phones, printers, and other hardware.
- Manage equipment inventory, setup, configuration, and secure disposal.
- Onboard and offboard employees, including account setup and IT inductions.
- Coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new software rollouts.
- Assist with security, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance processes.
- Research, pilot, and recommend new technology initiatives, including AI tools and cloud services.
About you
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems. You'll bring:
- Proven IT support experience, ideally in multi-site or professional services environments (accounting/finance experience desirable but not essential).
- Strong Windows server, networking, and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Proficiency with hardware configuration and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, phones).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems, print management, and cloud solutions.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, CompTIA A+, Network+).
- A current driver's licence to support travel between offices.
