About the Role:
We're looking for a Planning & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team
You'll be the mastermind behind our Vacation Care programs, designing fun-filled experiences that spark imagination, build confidence, and leave kids counting down to the next school holidays.
From researching unique excursions and negotiating with providers, to ensuring safety and compliance — you'll make sure every program runs smoothly and every child has a remarkable TeamKids experience.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver exciting, age-appropriate holiday programs that kids (and parents) love
- Research, source, and book high-quality excursions, incursions, and in-service activities
- Build strong relationships with external providers, transport companies, and service teams
- Prepare detailed timetables, risk assessments, and operational plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs are safe, smooth, and unforgettable
- Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate our program offerings
About You
- You're organised, creative, and love making things happen
- You have strong communication skills and build positive relationships easily
- You can juggle multiple priorities with ease and meet tight deadlines
- You're confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other digital tools
- You bring energy, initiative, and a child-centred mindset to everything you do
Desirable: Experience in planning, events, or coordination roles — especially in OSHC, education, or similar environments.
